Our Key Collaborations with Solar Domain The School of Skill Education, Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS SSE): The School of Skill Education (SSE) was set up by Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) in December 2011 to spearhead its commitment to provide education and training in core industry job competencies to millions of youth in India through appropriately designed, industry relevant curriculum and market oriented skill based programmes/courses. TISS SSE is amongst the first HEIs in India which offer various skill centric, work integrated programmes with the vision to create sustainable sources of income that would promote better employability, better livelihood, a brighter future and subsequently contribute to the economy of the nation. Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI): We were the first to collaborate with EDI to offer Solar training in Chennai region. This partnership marked the beginning of our journey in solar education setting a strong foundation for our subsequent endeavors. National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE):  We have a longstanding association with NISE, an autonomous institution under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). This collaboration made us to offer a variety of solar training programs that adhere to the highest standards set by NISE. Solar Energy Training Network (SETNET): As a recognized “Solar Training Partner” by SETNET, we are approved and authorized to conduct certified solar training programs as prescribed by NISE. This prestigious designation underscores our capability and commitment to excellence in solar training.  Suryamitra Skill Development Programme (SSDP): We have trained numerous students under the SSDP, one of the “flagship program” of the Prime Minister. This program aims to create a skilled workforce in the solar energy sector and our participation reflects our dedication to national development goals. National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Skill Council for Green Jobs (SCGJ): We have also collaborated with NSDC and SCGJ to offer Certification programs in the solar domain training. These programs are designed to meet industry standards and provide our students with recognized qualifications that enhance their employability.
